While fighting his way to Psyphon, Ben accidentally sets up a Mr. Instead, they each took on the invasion in their own way. Professor Paradox prevents Ben from transforming into Alien X, since this is not the time to do so. The plot begins when Vilgax unleashes the Null Void inmates held captive in the Null Void Projector, resulting in the release of hundreds of Null Void entities.
